Amazon Tours Puyo, Jungle Trips Ecuador

GROUP SIZE: Minimum 2 people
INCLUDED: Transportation (bus and canoe), food, accommodation, equipment (rain poncho, rubber boots) and Guides with English, French or German language skills
TIME: 1,2,3 days

FIRST DAY:

We meet at our agency in Baños at 8 am. We travel by pick up or van for an hour and a half to our jungle lodge. After arriving at the camp - Hola Vida - we have our lunch at the Hola Vida Reserve, then we walk about 15 min to our accomodation. After that we visit a beautiful waterfall, which is about two hours away from the cabañas. A refreshing bath in the breathtaking environment makes the area unforgettable. On the way back to our camp through the Jungle we will experience flaura and fauna of the jungle leaving you with an everlasting impression of the Rainforest. Following this experience we will have dinner in this tranquil environment, enjoying the fascinating sounds of the jungle

SECOND DAY:

After having our breakfast we will walk for about four hours through the Jungle to reach another waterfall. While yesterday's waterfall was easily accessible by foot, this one, in order to be visible to us, demands a bit more adventure, as it is hidden behind the rocks. After having a good swim we return to our accommodation through the thick jungle vegetation to have our lunch. In the afternoon we visit a Kiwchuas Indian family, where we will find out how they make handicrafts, how they hunt in the jungle, and about their use of hallucinogenic plants. We will take an unforgettable canoe ride for about 40 minutes to the next accommodation which is on the bank of the Puyo river.

THIRD DAY:

After breakfast we will go for a short walk to a sightseeing point, which will allow us to obtain a remarkable view of the Tropical Rainforest. After that we will visit an animal rescue center where you can see different kinds of monkeys, then we will return to Baños.
