ITINERARY:
First day: The tour starts at 8:00am at your hotel,then we leave to Mitad del Mundo where we visit the Museum Intiñan. Lunch before to go to Otavalo. Visit of San Pablo Lake and handicrafts market. Back to Quito
Second day: 8:00 am we leave Quito to visit the Volcano Avenue . Stop at Cotopaxi National Park and visit the Limpiopungo Lagoon. Discover the vegetation of the area and go by van till the parking 4500m and walk 300 m more to the refuge 4800 m, continue to the glacier 5000m. Overnight in Latacunga.
Third day: Breakfast and then we travel until Quilotoa Lagoon. On the road, we pass through small indigenous villages as Zumbahua. From the top of the crater (3900 m), we have a wonderful view of the lagoon and the mountains all around. Box lunch and then we walk down to the lagoon. After we travel to Baños. Overnight in Baños . Relax at “La Virgen thermal hot springs ”.
Forth day, Fifth day & Sixth day: Choose any of those adventure activities.

Seventh& Eight day: secondary jungle optional 1N. 2D. Baños to Baños.
Also you can do a tour in the upper Napo which is secondary jungle too, that will be for 2N-3D. from Tena to Tena.
Activities secondary jungle:
- Walks in the jungle
- Swimming in small waterfalls
- Paddle in dugout canoes
- View point to see the jungle canopy
- Visiting the indigenous Quechua
Note: You can visit the primary jungle for 3N-4D, 4N-5D; then we will organize from Quito which is closer to get there, that is going to be at the beginning or at the end of the other activities in the whole itinerary.
Ninth day: After we arrived from the secondary jungle we take the bus to Riobamba , where we could take the train if the dates coincide (Sundays, Wednesdays or Fridays). The train would bring us to the Nariz del Diablo and then Alausi where would be waiting our driver. Visit of Incas archaeological ruins called Ingapirca then travel to Cuenca where we overnight.
Tenth day: City Tour in Cuenca (Churches, museums, viewing point in Turi, archaeological centre Pumapungo). Visit of the factory of the Panama hats.Lunch and dinner in town.
Eleventh day: Breakfast and visit of Cajas National Park : trekking to the top of a mountain where we will have a beautiful of many lagoons. Then we travel until Guayaquil for about 4 hours. Dinner and walk on the Malecon 2000 along the Pacific Ocean . Overnight in Guayaquil.
Twelfth day: City tour in Guayaquil , (cerro de Santa Ana , las Peñas district, Historic Park of Guayaquil, Malecon 1900.
Thirteenth day: After breakfast, we travel for 3 hours and a half from Guayaquil to Salinas , a famous resort of the Ecuadorian coast. Then we drive along the Pacific Coast until Puerto Lopez 3 hours further. Walk in this small fishing town in the afternoon.
Fourteenth day: Excursion to the Plata Island which we will reach after 3 hours by motor boat. Guided visit of the island that is famous to have the same animals as the Galapagos Islands. You can also do Snorkel to see marine life like : sea turtles, different kind of colorful fish, coral,etc. Back to Puerto Lopez in the afternoon.
During the month of August, September, October it is famous for Whale Watching.
Fifteenth day: We visit Salango Museum of Puerto Lopez in order to learn about the culture of the coast and their ceramics. Then we go to the famous beach of Los Frailes before to finish the day at the archaeological site Agua Blanca and its sulfur baths. At this place you can also see lots of birds.
Sixteenth day: return to Quito by car (10 hours) or by plane from Manta (30minutes)
